Joining a new service can be scary for both parent and bub. Orientations are a great way for your little one to meet their educators, new friends and become familiar with their surroundings. It's also important that you regularly talk to your child about starting daycare so they are ready and know what to expect!

Every child is different when it comes to drop off. However, for first timers, we recommend bringing them to an educator, spending 2-3 minutes playing and then saying goodbye and telling them when you'll come back. As they become more comfortable with the environment, it will get easier but it's important to allow ample time for drop off so that you're not rushed in the morning.
To ensure we keep accurate records of attendance, please sign your child into the service using the OWNA app at the front desk. If you're in a rush, not to worry! You can even sign them in from your phone by clicking the middle + button or let one of the educators know.
Our parent app OWNA is a great way to see what your child has been upto throughout the day! Click here to find a parent cheat sheet on navigating the app.
